New Direct Mail Campaign Wins Major Gift for UH

New package design, segmented data base and a great message snags major gift for the University of Houston. A newly designed 6" by 9" package about Cougar Pride brought in the largest gift to date through direct mail at the University of Houston --- $50,000 from an alumni who had not given to the University for nearly two decades. Katy McFall, Director of Annual Giving, worked hard on special messages for each segment of the alumni data base and selected unique gift amounts for each individual. The package was more expensive however and is being evaluated for giving potential for future campaigns.

CAP Experiences Record Growth in Direct Mail Revenues

CAP has been a client of MF&A for the past 11 years and has experienced steady growth. The direct mail program has become an important part of the operating budget. Kappy Muenzer, Executive Director of CAP states, "Marcia and I have worked hard together to create a direct mail program that features real stories and real animals that CAP has helped. Marcia's targeted list prospects have provided CAP with a growing and generous donor base."

DSF 2005 Appeal an Overwhelming Success!

Marcia Feldman & Associates was privileged to assist with creating and executing the successful 2005 Diocesan Services Fund appeal for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The goal for the appeal was $9.1 million. According to the February 10 edition of the Texas Cathoic Herald "More than 52,000 donors gave approximately $9.7 million to help the Archdioces of Galveston-Houston continue its mission to serve the people of the Texas Gulf Coast." MF&A created and produced 500,000 direct mail pieces, thousands of posters, brochures, newspaper ads and other collateral materials for this campaign.
